Re: What is your favourite surface

To watch - I'd say outdoor hard.

To play - i've never played on a clay court before - what is it like? Nice? I like playing on carpet and grass though.

Re: What is your favourite surface

I'd have to say clay

even though I've never had the chance to play on it (well, same goes for grass and carpet aswell), I just love the look of it, and I really enjoy all the sliding around

I enjoy the red Clay than the green or blue turf.

Re: What is your favourite surface

I voted for grass, as I love the serve & volley game But I must admit that my new favourite (well one of my favourites) Guillermo Garcia Lopez rocks on clay

Where I won my 1st title and the Olympic gold medal, so that would be clay.

Wimbleton has a fast playing surface, with an inconvenient bounce. Skilled servers and vollyers are at a huge advantage.
Only one serve-volleyer - Ancic - reached the semi-finals this year. That's as many as in the FO.

The most you can say is that grass gives serve-volleyers the fair chance they are denied on the other surfaces in the modern game.
