Wimby courts 12 days later...very impressive job!

Maybe you're wondering about the progress of regrowing the grass. Here it is, from Wimby's groundsman's Twitter page:

Center court:

No.1 court:

It looks very nice and they have 8 more days to improve it...

Q. Do you think you would have been able to play as well as you played today, or you think you would have pulled out from the game if it wasn't the Masters Cup final?

ROGER FEDERER: No, Roger Federer doesn't pull out. Otherwise he doesn't walk on court (smiling).

After losing to Nalbandian in 2005 TMC final...

I'm no Fakervic fan but he needs to save tennis, sadly tree trunk legs will be fresh. Interesting he's never questioned....

Nice courts. They will be perfect in one week time.

8th day of July 2012: 7-time Wimbledon champion!

Once upon a time there was a myth about strong and weak eras. On this glorious day the clownery was eventually unmasked: 30 y.o. past-prime daddy Fed became #1 once again in the supposed strong "Spartan" era with his rivals at their peak.
And they all lived happily ever after.
Long live King Federer!

Re: Wimby courts 12 days later...very impressive job!

Question 1 : Will WADA test if grass doped ?
Question 2 : Is this still natural grass ?

Answer : As long as it is quick and low-bouncing we do not want any test on this doping.

Roger Federer - Martin Klizan - Lukas Lacko - Milos Raonic - Fernando Verdasco

Dustin Brown - Nick Kyrgios - Norbert Gombos - Stanislas Wawrinka - Dominic Thiem
