Hamburg SF: (3)Monaco def. (1)Almagro 3-6, 6-3, 6-4

Monaco is closing in on top 10. He's fought well this week to get to the final.

Almagro had *4-2 in the 3rd set, but faded when Monaco had some tactical changes

Re: Hamburg SF: (3)Monaco def. (1)Almagro 3-6, 6-3, 6-4

Stebe had him on the ropes in the 1st round and now Mugnaco is in the final... We will see if he has enough left in the tank for tomorrow after two exhausting weeks with many long matches.

Federer |Söderling |most of the Germans

I also like: Wawrinka | Tsonga | Dimitrov | Isner | Gulbis |

Warm regards: 6-3 6-0 / 6-3 6-4

Pico fought like a dog to get this one.

Almagro up a break twice in the final set at 3-1 and 4-2, but Monaco just refused to lose. Playing exceptional defense when needed, Rafa would be proud, forcing Almagro to hit closer to the lines, and Mugro missed more than he made. Solid match overall I thought, and a great reaction at the end from Monaco, really meant a lot to him.

If Monaco wins tommorrow he is in top 10 for the first time. If he loose and Isner doesn't win Atlanta Monaco is in top 10, too.

Monaco is "kinda-injured" (i can't believe I watched this match).

300 points it's pretty cool Pico, don't injure yourself again.
