Hamburg R2: Almagro d. Davydenko 6-4 6-3

Expected, Davy is a must-win, the next round we will see how is shoulder is doing.

First set was promising, with good serve figures, but second set much worse.
Wonder how he will do against Kohli, who isn't in such a good form either.

Good for tennis when Baldenko losses.

Clown. In-form Davydenko was great for the tour. He is missed.

I expect another first round loss at the olympics and then on the hard courts expecting him to rise to 35-40th place

Almagro whoring up these meaningless smaller clay events If he can ever win a big clay event, or at least beat Nadal/Ferrer on clay I'll be less critical of him.

Re: Hamburg R2: Almagro d. Davydenko 6-4 6-3

I'm not a big fan of Almagro, but Davydenko is far and away my least favorite player. He loses no opportunity to stick it to other players with his statements. His numerous first round losses are well-deserved.
