Nalbandian's form in this match

Against Del Potro at the Paris Masters in 08. Particularly that return game at 2-0 in the second set.

That first rally. Those backhand slices.

You can't judge anyone's form from a 4 minute highlight reel.

Re: Nalbandian's form in this match

David is not fat.

Fakervic played at 150% against Federer as usual.

Federer was the pioneer of first-strike all-court tennis. This is the real tennis and the beautiful game. Never forget the beauty of what was tennis. Nadull and Fakervic don't win tennis matches. They simply outlast their opponent with endless grinding and stamina. That is ugly. Beautiful tennis is gone now. Never forget the good days of real tennis. - upon popular request (no lie - Mr Popular himself requested this). I'll answer 100 anonymous questions. 58/100

Take any highlight reel from a decent player's great matches and they will look like the GOAT.

Re: Nalbandian's form in this match

Nalbandian won madrid and paris in 2007 beating Roger in both tournaments. He also beat nadal in paris final but I guess that's not as impressive.
When he was in form Nalbandian was an awesome indoor player.
