Hamburg 2nd RD: Cilic def Del Bonis 6:3, 6:2

It was just like in last 4 matches. Big fight in the first until crucial games than Cilic just keep to rolling until the end.

He is on 12 sets winning strike. Last set he lost in Wimledon. Next one is Ramos, I supose Marin has alot of motivation for revenge (l. in Shangai last year when he was in poor form).

He made what could have been a very tricky match relatively comfortable in the end. Im noticing that he is having alot of trouble closing matches out recently which is a concern but other than that he's looking really good

Great stuff. Keep it up Marin.

He has only lost to Murray and Delpo in the past two months. Hope he continues the great form and takes the title here.

Wow it looked like Delbonis was practically in every Cilic service game but Cilic won every crucial point and made this rather easy...

He was pretty solid in Umug.

In fact, he's been pretty decent since Munich. Same old problems with choking etc, but it seems now it doesn't get to him, just gets on with it.

good win over a low ranked player
he has one day to rest now, he'd better use it and refuel for the quarters against ramos
the match against haas/mayer will be where we will see if he has what it takes IMO

Keep up the good work Cilic. Ballbash your way to victory

The Penultimate Enemy to all Injustice

Federer was the pioneer of first-strike all-court tennis. This is the real tennis and the beautiful game. Never forget the beauty of what was tennis. Nadull and Fakervic don't win tennis matches. They simply outlast their opponent with endless grinding and stamina. That is ugly. Beautiful tennis is gone now. Never forget the good days of real tennis.
