I think it's the opposite. Those guys at the top have to be zeroed in on what they are doing and I'm not sure they are really having a blast like the others. Plus, those olympians have additional pressure on trying to get endorsements and they only have once every 4 years to nail it.
Then again, I really have no idea what the top dogs do there lol. I just look at tennis players and I feel like they just live on the court and in their hotels. Very little time for screwing because they have such expensive fares.
It probably depends on them individually. Federer and Nadal obviously are in hotels far away from the action, but other guys that are single probably can't resist. Plus, they can hang around for a couple days after they lose
And while I agree about the Olympians and their endorsements, it never stopped them before
