I meant the journalists. Poor Nolito got scared in the first two sets reading all those comments from them.

such nonsense.

Chris fowler just said that rafa just got his wisdom teeth pulled and is resting...the knee stuff is besides the point. He needs rest and is taking it and who would want to play tennis when they just got their teeth taken out plus an exho isnt serious tennis......rest up rafa cause u gonna need it for Olympics.

Are you kidding me? this is trolling, right? I have had my wisdom teeth out and I was fine 5 minutes after it. Besides, if he suspected the recovery couldbe a bit longer than normal, he could have just done it in December. I am pretty sure having wisdom teeth is not life threatening and there is no rush to do it most of the times

at the end rafa's humbleness exposed one more time. what are two spent knees in exchange for millions hungry children all over the world who should have been nourished from this match. instead of publishing this information on facebook he should explain what tendonitis is to those kids

That he got the wisdom teeth out is true but yeah, we mere mortals wouldn't get 5 minutes off work for this, no?

I took at least two weeks to feel normal- on of my wisdoem teeth were impacted and it hurt like hell. Impacted wisdom teeth do hurt, and can hurt more before you realize you need them out.

Not necessary, as I said why not play wheelchair tennis for those poor kids with the stadium booked and tickets sold and all.

Re: Nadal/Djoko exo postponed due to RN injury-2 wks rest

Did he have emergency wisdom teeth surgery? If he was still contending, I wonder if would have still had the surgery so close to the expo Olympics?

It's always something.

I am usually very supportive of athletes and their injuries... but I have to say this is getting a little much--not that he's blaming being injured for his loss.
This postponement is just very convenient. Why schedule an event after Wimby...if he needed his wisdom teeth pulled nevermind the fact he has a tendency for knee issues in the first place? To me, the smart thing to do would have been to rest..regardless of winning or losing--considering he was a contender.

Bottom line a loss is a loss, and Rosol played out of his mind.

Nole!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Nadal/Djoko exo postponed due to RN injury-2 wks rest

Anyway, just thought of this nursery rhyme (my favorite from childhood)

Quote:
Piggy on the Railway
Picking up stones;
Down came an engine,
And broke Piggy’s bones. ‘Ah !’ said Piggy,
“That’s not fair,”
“Oh !” said the engine driver,
“I don’t care !”

I swear other than the slight paralysis because of the anesthesia I wad fine 5 mins after I had mine removed. But then again, we, women, aren't whiners. sometimes the recovery can be longer and harder but it doesn't take you 2 weeks and it definitively does not stop you from playing an exo match.

Yeah but I am pretty sure Rafa's wisdom teeth did not.decide to come out all at the same time. you go and have the one that is bugging you out and then come back when you have time to have the others removed.

Useless discussing this anyway, Rafa is not using it as an excuse.

I guess there are different degrees of wisdom tooth surgery.

All of my wisdom teeth had grown in fine... they were just crowding my other teeth. So I didn't even have to go under anesthesia belief it or not! I had all 4 out in two procedures using a local and laughing gas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But then again, there are some people who have impacted wisdom teeth. A friend of mine whose husband is a civil litigator--medical malpractice said that wisdom tooth surgeries are actually more dangerous than a lot of people think. She said, there were a surprising number of suits regarding wisdom teeth sugeries!

So... if Rafa needs to rest... that's fine. But the timing is sort of dubious.. except maybe.. he figures he had the time now, so go on ahead. But... then he did have another event.

Nole!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The wisdom teeth have nothing to do with the exo, though.

He mentioned last year that he had to have his wisdom teeth removed so I'm guessing he's taken the..erm...extra days off ...to get it finally done.

When my wisdom teeth had to be taken out, it involved cutting open the jaw bone, lifting the bone up in order to finally remove the damn teeth. (they were growing in the wrong direction and pushing against the jaw bone).
I can assure you that this took more than 5 minutes to recover from it.
So, it depends, I guess.
