Look closer. He's virtually 55, since he drops 250 this week.

Re: Unofficial Live ATP Rankings

I've just realised I was looking at the eu site's live ranking - where changes in position are not done until the end of the week; I had both it and your list open. He's definitely missing from there. My apologies!

They will replace their lowest optional result, which means :

Fed and Nadal will replace the 90 points from Doha,

and Djokovic will replace ... 0 point, that is get all of his points.

The link to the old rankings thread was written by Slasher85 in the first post :

Re: Unofficial Live ATP Rankings

Monfils has withdrawn from Hamburg : looks worse and worse to play the Olympics (it would be better for the French team that Benneteau replaces him now),

but what's worse is that he has not played any ATP500 tournament yet this year, which means he will not be able to play 4 ATP500 tournaments in the calendar year, then should get a zeropointer both for Hamburg and Washington (the same stupid story which happened to Del Potro in 2010 : unable to fulfill the commitment because of injuries, the ATP gives you zeropointers which stay in tour rankings for one year ).

Then he will lose 390 points in coming weeks (90 Hamburg points + 300 for Washington), and then he will have to replace 360 points from Montreal and Cinci.

Awful for him : he will very probably not be seeded for the US Open

Re: Unofficial Live ATP Rankings

Okay, so apparently the Poznan Challenger was downgraded from last year in terns of prize money and ranking points offered.

Jerzy has 65 points to defend next week from that tournament. So how does that work if they change the amount of ranking points offered for the tournament? He made the Final last year and got 65 ranking points. This year, a finalist would only get 48 ranking points.

So does it not matter? Is he still defending 65 ranking points this week? Does he have to win the title in Poznan to defend all of his points?
