Re: Unofficial Live ATP Rankings [in Post #1]

Why does it say Raonic was not a commitment player for this season, cause I thought he finished top 30 last year?

He was 31 according to his ranking history, he did break the top 30 last year an then dropped 1 spot outside before the year ended

He can get in as 1st alternate if he makes the semis, Almagro doesn't make semis, Monaco doesn't make semis, Nishikori doesn't win and Wawrinka doesn't win?

He can make 2nd alt if he makes the semis and 1 of those 4 things above happens?
Yeah. Milos would have 3290 points and Tipsy 3170 with a semifinal in this case.

That he did. He moves very slowly on the YE ranking. 2-1-1-1-1-2-1-2-3-2. It's been 10 years since he last moved more than one place a year.

If Almagro loses to Jo Willy, he and Gasquet will be even in the race. Who will be the first alternate?

Edit: Never mind, this has been discussed already

Re: Unofficial Live ATP Rankings [in Post #1]

the 8 players qualified for the WTF are now official.

The two substitutes should be Gasquet and Almagro unless Wawrinka or Simon wins the tournament.

Re: Unofficial Live ATP Rankings [in Post #1]

if Berdych wins Paris-Bercy and Ferrer loses to Tsonga, Berdych will be top-5 next monday for the first time of his carreer (with 15 more points than Ferrer) and get the number 4 seed in the WTF (which implies avoiding Murray and facing only one of Djokovic and Federer in the round-robin phase)

So, WTF seeding is confirmed now unless Tsonga or Tipsaveric wins Paris-Bercy

Tipsarevic kan only pass Tsonga, they'd still be #7 and #8 seed. The only thing that would make a difference is a Tsonga victory, when he would be seeded #6 and then can't be in the same group as Berdych.

Yes, I know but it is a psychological boost

Someone on twitter said a semifinal in London for Ferrer (+Paris title) would be enough to pass Rafa in the rankings.
Can anyone else confirm this?

No, that`s not true. Title in Paris + final in London (2 or 3 victories in group - doesn`t matter, but one won`t be enough), semi at WTF will leave David on 5th place.

Gasquet is next №1
