Stockholm semifinal: Agassi def. Haas 7-6(5) 7-6(4)

Agassi def. Haas 7-6(5) 7-6(4)

It seemed to be ANOTHER great match between those two, especially the first set was crazy and was a brilliant example.

I couldn't even watch this match, but it was even fun following it at the scoreboard only

Congrats Andre!
He can keep really his hope for the Masters Cup alive with this win...

Congrats Tommy for a great end of an already anyway very remarkable season by making it to this semifinal.
Maybe he has a few more wins left for the Paris TMS.

Carlos --- C'MON Lleyton!!! --- Kiwi!!! --- Jürgen --- Juan

Best of luck to all Germans : Nicolas Kiefer | Rainer Schüttler | Lars | Florian | Tommy

I wanna see this match. Good for Andre to win it and furhter his chances to quailfy, good for Tommy to make the semis and add more points, he started off the year not even on the computer ranks, and he'll end inside top 20, that's awesome.

That Sounds like a good match, I was scrolling a bit in the thread of the tournament and this was strange how many break points and opportunitys they had in the first set.
In the next set not much.
Agassi come throuigh finally, does not surprise me much, he is still with very high game.
I hope more for Johansson in the finals, but Agassi might win it.

Re: Stockholm semifinal: Agassi def. Haas 7-6(5) 7-6(4)

I just saw a couple of minutes' highlights on German tv and it looked like an awesome match with some great rallies. The crowd gave both players a standing ovation at the end. Even Tommy didn't look too unhappy to be at the losing end of the score

My German guys are like the cast of the Wizard of Oz:

Rainer = Lion
Kiwi = Scarecrow
Tommy = Tin Man
Flo = Dorothy

...but I still love 'em

It was on at the end of "Sportstudio" on ZDF, only a summing-up really, no interviews or anything. If Tommy plays next year the way he was playing in that match, he'll be in the top 10 for sure. I think there's a great chance that there will be at least 2 Germans in the top 10 next year, and another 2 not far outside
