Probable draw projections for the Top 4...

Djokovic
R1 - Ferrero
R2 - Lu or Harrison
R3 - Stakhovsky or Štepánek
R4 - Mónaco or Chardy
QF - Berdych
SF - Federer

Federer
R1 - Ramos
R2 - Llodra
R3 - Benneteau
R4 - Simon
QF - Tipsarevic or Seppi
SF - Djokovic

Murray
R1 - Davydenko
R2 - Karlovic
R3 - Anderson or Dimitrov
R4 - Raonic or Cilic
QF - Del Potro
SF - Nadal or Tsonga

Nadal
R1 - Bellucci
R2 - Dodig
R3 - Haas or Kohlschreiber
R4 - Dolgopolov or Lopez
QF - Tsonga
SF - Murray or Del Potro

Clearly Federer's is the easiest, followed by Djokovic's, then Nadal's, and then Murray's.

Murray faces serious danger in all of his rounds (perhaps bar the first), while Nadal faces particular danger in R3 and QF. As for Djokovic, his only real danger is the potential QF vs Berdych, and for Federer the only minor-to-moderate threat is Simon in R4.

Murray with Karlovic, Anderson and Raonic. His return will be GOAT if he makes it

Game over. Forever.

Re: Probable draw projections for the Top 4...

Murray's draw looks worse than it is. Karlovic isn't what he was, and on grass Murray doesn't need to be aggressive with the returns, just bunt em back. Baghdatis will beat Anderson surely, but doesn't have the weapons to bother Murray. Raonic of course is a threat, but not so much on grass. He'll definitely take all this if Ferrer makes the qfs, could have had Berdy or Tsonga there.

Nadal vs Feli Lopez, Djoko vs Troicki, where have I seen this before?

Nadal vs Tsonga might be very interesting though, if he's fit.

Fed has a bye to the semis.

Isner on grass? The guy that lost to Almagro?

He has no return game at all. Won't make qfs, has to get past mahut, then Seppi, then tips/youzhny.

I fancy it might be a Fed-Seppi qf.

Re: Probable draw projections for the Top 4...

Check how Isner lost to Almagro last year. Served insanely well himself, 73% first serve, but lost in four because he couldn't create a single bp all match.

Well, Isner is born in 1985 and he has so far in his career beaten exactly one player at Wimbledon. Sure, he has beaten the same man twice, but he has not came across as a force to be reckoned with thus far. In other grass tournaments the highest ranket opponent he has beaten is the then 66th ranked Alex Bogomolov.

It could change, naturally. But then it could change also for any unmerited player in the draw. I see no reason to fear Isner specifically.
