also when he's off it seems the ball doesn't really come out of his racket to me, it looks frustrating and painful to me

Re: Who is more enjoyable to watch, Tipsarevic or Ferrer?

Tipsarevic doesn't push. He's an offensive counterpuncher and sometimes an all-out attacker. When he is forced to play defense he usually loses. With that being said, Ferrer is a more interesting player than people here give him credit for. He's an offensive grinder and isn't the pusher and defensive guy many posters seem to think he is. But grinding is a game-strategy many find tedious.

Tipsarevic without any freaking doubt. Ferrer bored people to deaths.

Roger Federer - Martin Klizan - Lukas Lacko - Milos Raonic - Fernando Verdasco

Dustin Brown - Nick Kyrgios - Norbert Gombos - Stanislas Wawrinka - Dominic Thiem

David Ferrer is much more interesting to me. Ferru has many more traits that appeal to me. He is tough, tenacious, loves to read and has pets. Tipsy is really strange.

1st of all, it's about their game on the court. 2nd of all do you rly pick Ferrer over motherEFing Tipsarevic bcs he reads??? Tipsarevic who has a Dostoevsky tattoo from 'War and peace' and his favourite historic figure is Nietzsche? In free time he reads, plays video-games, is a small-time DJ, goes snowboarding, but Ferrer has pets, yeah, much more interesting

Truer words have never been spoken and ignorance had never been exposed in more magnificent way.

Tipsy is definitely one of the most interesting players, if not the most, off the court. How did he even find the time to read War and Peace, that thing never ends

I agree completely. That's why he's my favourite player, I do like his game style, but even more his personality, he's so unordinary tennis player.

And in that way, I would like to mention Karlovic who I hate watching play but just love off the court.

Re: Who is more enjoyable to watch, Tipsarevic or Ferrer?

I like Ferrer, but he isn't a good shot maker, so I choose Tipsarevic because I like the tennis of attack and he is a better shot maker

Roger Federer

Form is temporary, class is permanent

"The more you lose, the more they believe they can beat me. But believing is not enough, you still have to beat me" RF.

"He is capable of hitting shots which others don't even think about trying" Lendl on RF.

I like both players ... Tipsy when on is so enjoyable to watch ... Pics too ... I guess Tipsy has that 'cool thing' in his repertoire, Pics on the other hand is a better fighter than Tipsy ... Pics is mentally stronger than Tipsy ...

Tipsarevic. He may be one of the biggest clowns ever to grace this game, but he has a more aesthetically pleasing game especially when he's on.

Re: Who is more enjoyable to watch, Tipsarevic or Ferrer?

Tipsy when on is a joy to watch, with that powerful FH's and great BH's down the line. Ferru just plays all the time like he was in clay, dictating with his FH and grinding, so that's a bit boring IMO.

Gilles Simon
Benoît Paire, Edouard Roger-Vasselin,Nicolas Mahut, Jeremy Chardy, Aljaz Bedene, Florian Mayer, Tommy Robredo, Evgeny Korolev, Albert Ramos, Guillaume Rufin

"Beautiful two-handed backhand" is an oxymoron.

Against Nadal in Barcelona Ferrer was a great shotmaker, was playing like a good Djokovic, displaying great backhands and forehands.

seems to mostly come from clown berdych fans for some reason.

ferrer is reasonably good to watch when he's on because he's completely transformed his game as he's gotten older.

he used to be a pure grinder but now he takes the initiative in rallies the first opportunity he gets on the forehand side and tries to step in and dictate. people completely underestimate just what an aggressive mentality he has on court.

it takes a lot of guts to play the way he does because his lack of natural power means he's always forcing the shot and stepping out of his comfort zone.

he's also added a more than competent net game. 90% of his volleys are droppers but it's an effective shot.

when he starts missing he's horrific to watch because he has no plan b whatsoever.

Tipsarevic can be quite robotic but his backhand and kick serve are a pleasure.
