Re: Talk about your favorite player

My favourite player is Gonzo but since he retired it's probably Nalbandian or Fedmug

Federer can obviously improve his return and even mentality, based on recent events. Also needs to stop making so many errors on the forehand side.

As for Nalbandian, only take out anger on racquets. Also Nalbandian was always a choker and gets tight ending matches.

Some people mistake the Distant Sun for an eternally raging fireball calling for your demise. Just like aliens from outer space. Aliens from other planets. Aliens in galaxies too far away from your own comprehension. Your demise is ultimately irrelevant and meaningless.

Do not question our motives, our objectives, or our qualities. Question your own place in the universe.

He's Spanish (IKR! ) and if only he wasn't balding so quickly he'd be completely perfect

Re: Talk about your favorite player

Here are some:

Juan Martin del Potro

-no more injuries

-improve his fitness

-improve his serve

-be more comfortable at the net

-hit the backhand down the line a bit more

Jo Wilfried Tsonga

-keep improving his backhand

-improve his return of serve big time

-get the right mix between patience and aggression

Tomas Berdych

-much better first serve % + less double faults in key moments. In short, improve the serve big time;

-be more comfortable at the net

-be tougher mentally in big matches

Marin Cilic

-Same as Berdych as far as the serve is concerned. His serve is comically weak for a guy his size;

-Be more comfortable at the net

-Stop making silly unforced errors off rally strokes

Kei Nishikori

-no more injuries of course

-much better serve

-working on some patterns of play to make the most of the weapons at his disposal

I like Milos' BH, and especially his movement and return of serve. I wish he'd improve his Serve though, it's so damn easy to break

Re: Talk about your favorite player

I like Troicki's forehand and mental strength. The way he blasts his forehand is better than Gonzo doing it in his best days. His best ranking is #12 and IMO he belongs there, but he is often unlucky with his draws.

True. Milos's flawless strokes/ground game and return of serve will all be useless in the end if he keeps serving like a low ranked WTA player. Definitely needs major work there

I wish Tipsarevic would just start finishing the matches better. He leads, dominates and then lets the opponent back in it.

Best forehand in tennis history belongs to Troicki, IMO. Oh, and his second serve as well, is untouchable, that definitely can't be ignored.

Favorite player: Filippo Volandri.

Likes: Everything. In particular, movement and backhand.

Wants to see improve (but will never happen): Serve, consistency, mental application.

Re: Talk about your favorite player

Fan of Djokovic since 2007. Likes almost everything about his game especially his BH DTL. I want him to improve his serve and his useless smash.

Forgot what I liked about these players, too much focus on areas for improvement. Here are things I like:

Juan Martin Del Potro

-Love his power game and his attitude/demeanour

-His forehand is my favorite shot in tennis

Jo Wilfried Tsonga

-Most exciting player on tour, always awesome to watch

-His net play and the way he charges are amazing

Tomas Berdych

-Easy power off both wings, beautiful strokes

Marin Cilic

-One of the nicest guys on tour

-Obscenely great movement for a guy his size; great to watch when he's not making silly errors off rally balls

Kei Nishikori

-I have a soft spot for all things Japanese

-Biggest fighter on tour

Re: Talk about your favorite player

Tipsarevic
Like: Beautiful backhand, huge serve with a motion I like, exciting as hell, fears no one, amusing off court
fix: can you fight a bit more please? Also really awful off days.
Haas
like: Everything really. Just a beautiful beautiful game, one of the best. Genuinely likable.
Dislike: big choker, poor endurance
Montañes
Like: Fighting spirit, mental toughness, emotion
dislike: that the mental toughness has faded, adapts too slow, and Is just in decline
Hewitt
like: Emotion. So much emotion
dislike: Injured all the time, should approach more
Melzer
like: emotion, style of play, seems a nice guy
dislike: huge choker with not much fight

might do more later but these are probably my VERY favorites

Racquet smash enthusiast

Robin Soderling. I like ballbashing guerilla minded style tennis. don't think, just bash the ball and win some games.
