as for the topic, I agree there are some similarites. both rely on variety and angles because of a relative lack of power.
pretty sure young is a lot smaller than his official 1.83m as well, though still quite a bit bigger than christophe.
c. rochus seems to be one of the most unpopular players ever, partly because of his match fixing and propensity for bagels but he had a really nice game when on. watching him out-santoro santoro in the frenchman's final roland garros was glorious.
Olli's real height for sure is about 5'3 3/4-5'4. H's shorter than Henin is, and Henin was right around 5'5. Don looks 5'9 1/2 or so, to me.
I'm glad that at least someone sees the similarities or has actually responded to the question I originally asked! Chris Rochus did have a nice game with nice variety when on. He was a pro's pro, he was smart, slick, had good court sense. Don isn't quite on that level with his variety but he's pretty slick too, and has an advanced court sense for his age.
