Is David Nalbandian a hero or a mug?

Now that we've had a few days to recover, and over 1,000 posts of trolling over 2 threads, the question must be asked: Is Nalbandian a hero or a mug?

Is he a hero? For having the guts to call out the ATP in his speech after getting DQ'd? Bear in mind the crowd CHEERED for him when he talked about the big rule book and the ATP basically turning a blind eye when the top players do something and punishing lower ranked players for the same or lesser offences.

Or is he a huge mug for losing his cool and injuring the linesperson with a kick to the shin, getting DQ'd up a set in the Queens final, and cheating the fans out of a true conclusion to the final?

He can be both but anyone who schooled Mugdal & Muger at some point is a hero in my eyes.

Re: Is David Nalbandian a hero or a mug?

I don't believe he meant to hurt anyone. I think he though what he kicked was better made than it was. I don't believe he thought for a minute that anyone could get hurt, but still he really shouldn't have made that kick at all
I still like him and believe he has been punished enough. This will stick to him for the rest of his career
