Halle Tennis Tournament: the pearl of the ATP tour?

Don't believe me? Ask yourself these questions below:

Four talented players are in the SF of an ATP tournament. When was the last time that happened?

Four players with a single handed backhand are in the SF of an ATP tournament. Whn was the last time that happened?

The tournament actually rewards attacking tennis. When was the last time we saw a tournament like that?

The grass almost plays like classic Wimbledon grass. Have you forgotten how that was?

Halle has always been one of my favorite tours, not including GS's, definitely in top 3.

Re: Halle Tennis Tournament: the pearl of the ATP tour?

I always loved Halle.
It's one of my top 5 fav tournaments.

Ah, appeal moderation? Wanna know what appeal moderation did to me?
LOOK AT ME!
LOOK AT ME, BOY! THESE ARE THE SCARS OF APPEAL MODERATION!
Take a good long stare, you know you want to.
You're not even man enough to look at my face.

Appeal moderation isn't pretty, you have to watch your friends go to dust.
Appeal moderation is always hungry for your soul and sweet emotions.

First and once godly-worhispped appeal moderator.
(Actually 2nd)

It's ok, Nadal might get a street named after him sometime

Maybe after they change this to the Roger Federer open of Halle, Roger will no longer need the street and being the generous soul he is might give his street to Rafa

So Youzhny making Halle SF = talented player.

But Youzhny making SF of USO 2010 = mug era?

Re: Halle Tennis Tournament: the pearl of the ATP tour?

Wow, it is a sad day in MTF when that Glenn Mirnyi-wannabe starts opening threads

RAFAEL NADAL and GRIGOR DIMITROV

Rafa winning at least one slam in 10 consecutive years is the best achievement in Open Era tennis since Laver won all 4 Grand slam tournaments in the same year!

Don't ever underestimate the heart of a champion!
