Queens R1: Bogomolov def. Klizan 6-2 7-6(5)

Bogomolov saved 11/12 BPs in the match. The one time Klizan was able to break gave him the opportunity to serve for the second set, which he dumped after having a handful of set points. Very disappointing given the amount of chances Martin had.

Bogomolov's second ATP event win since Delray Beach in late February (and first one in a regulation ATP event).

Don't feel too bad, it's only Klizan's 2nd grass match ever, last year he had to retire vs. Sijsling.

Lol, I just felt like posting that. Anyway, Bogo losing is good because he throws too many temper tantrums and his game is boring. Klizan is still a work in progress however and is a bit overranked.

True, he lacks grass court experience. He'll still be kicking himself for all the missed chances.

Tough loss for Martin cause he was supposed to beat this Bogomolov. So many breakpoints wasted, serving for set, close TB.

Bogo was very beatable today, but it was first complete match on grass for Klizan in his whole career !

Roger Federer - Martin Klizan - Lukas Lacko - Milos Raonic - Fernando Verdasco

Dustin Brown - Nick Kyrgios - Norbert Gombos - Stanislas Wawrinka - Dominic Thiem
