Re: Top 5 Players on Fast courts?

why is murray rated higher than the clay monster?

does he not have 2 slams on hard courts?

does he not school murray at wimbledon?

i could go on but you get the picture.

Re: Top 5 Players on Fast courts?

if we were to go by ranking points on fast surfaces we would easily see the rankings look like this

1. Everyone - 0 Points

We really need to get some fast surfaces so we can know

Re: Top 5 Players on Fast courts?

Right now:

1-Djokovic
2-Nadal

These two are the best everywhere. Prime Fed would beat them probably, but not this Fed.

3-Federer
4-Del Potro
5-Berdych
6-Tsonga
7-Murray

Re: Top 5 Players on Fast courts?

i am expecting a lot from d-pot at the u.s. open. he has to deliver.

hard courts will probably end up being his best surface when all is said done.

he does have to improve his transition game. net game needs to improve a lot.

Re: Top 5 Players on Fast courts?

If any of you seriously think #1 isn't Rogie, then you're fooling yourselves. Rogie has 20 indoor titles alone (20-8 record in indoor events, mostly hardcourts, some carpet events earlier on in his career). 51 hardcourt titles overall and 11 grass court titles , and 2 carpet titles overall (that's 64 of Rogie's 74 titles, the other 10 being on clay courts). Rogie totally dominates on the faster surfaces and wallops opponents with his awesome serve and shortening the points/rallies. Come the end of the year, also early year (i.e. Rotterdam) indoors hardcourt fast-speed events, Rogie takes the cake (i.e. won his last 7 finals: 2010 Stockholm, Basel, and WTF; 2011 Basel, Paris, and WTF; and 2012 Rotterdam.
