Dmitry Tursunov aggravates fractured vertebra - out of year, maybe more

Dmitry Tursunov of Roseville is done for this year and maybe longer after suffering a back injury in an August tournament.
Tursunov, ranked 75th in the world, apparently aggravated a fractured vertebra in his lower back from 2001. A recent bone scan revealed no break, he said.
Tursunov, the Male MVP of World TeamTennis as a member of the Capitals, has not played since the latest injury occurred. He is scheduled to rest for at least six to 12 more weeks. Tennis' regular season ends Nov. 7.
