Roland Garros QF: Nadal def. Almagro 7-6(4) 6-2 6-3

Everything what you need to know about allmugro was in that drop shot at the beginning of a breaker. Also would like to ask him which part of his winning tactic was assuming gifting 3 service winners per nadal's service game. nadal was moonballing much more than in last months , feel sick from all those no ballers which gifting him match after match. this match is a good example how nadal is lucky with that artificially forehand, almagro who has one of better one henders couldn't control those moonballs, all those guys with one handed backhand would give a kingdom for being lefty

Almagro was playing 100% his best tennis and Nadal at 70%, this is the outcome...

Modern day tennis just isn't for everyone. Can't go in there with the shots and nothing else.

Almagro played well I thought. 11 games vs. Nadal on this court is not a bad showing at all.

Rafa just too tough.

Re: Roland Garros QF: Nadal def. Almagro 7-6(4) 6-2 6-3

Almagro played well at times, Nadal wasn't as good as in the previous matches. Almagro definitely had chances in the third with Nadal serving at 3-3, but couldn't do it and then got broken right after that.

Weird how Mugro can be such a poor returner on such a slow surface...

After Nadal beat Monfils at Doha, before AO 2014

Only Del Potro can take him out before the semis, and he won't. Nadal is winning the AO, bet your house on it.

Too bad Mugro dosen't have a top 100 return of serve. Otherwise it could have been intresting.

Re: Roland Garros QF: Nadal def. Almagro 7-6(4) 6-2 6-3

Nadal took his chances and Almagro didn't. Not like Nadal was never in any real danger.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Typical just good enough performance from Rafa, in conditions that don't suit him. Hope it dries up a bit before the SFs.
