How would Andy Roddick's career would've been had he won Wimbledon 2009?

Would he still be a force and a regular top 10 player this year? If he had won in Wimbledon 2009, would he be motivated to continue playing at a high level?

he would have retired, Heya would have exploded and Federer would have flooded Wimbledon with his tears.

I'm no Fakervic fan but he needs to save tennis, sadly tree trunk legs will be fresh. Interesting he's never questioned....

He would've had one more slam that's all. No changes

He lost, that's all that matters. John McEnroe thinks Andy should be in the Tennis HOF. Chances are he will-LOL!!

Re: How would Andy Roddick's career would've been had he won Wimbledon 2009?

Roddick mostly has declined due to age, and it's not like 1 win would slow down his aging so I'm pretty sure he would have declined like he is now even if he had won Wimbledon

Re: How would Andy Roddick's career would've been had he won Wimbledon 2009?

While I think the injury bug would have still hit him, Andy wouldn't be fighting in order to make that one run at a major. He would keep going for the Olympics - because he didn't play in 2008 and it being held at Wimbledon - and then call it a career.

Andy Murray: 2012 Olympic gold and silver medalist. US Open Champ. Wimbledon champ. Never been prouder of him.

The Brian Baker Story. Proof that truth is stranger than fiction... until Hollywood buys the rights and proceeds to keep screwing the script up.
