French Open scheduling, questions and moaning Thread

Putting a mens match last on court is a bit stupid... Don't see why it's done, now Federer will definitely make the semi's regardless of who wins.

Of course they put Federer and Djokovic on court before these 2 matches currently going on though.

Re: This Is Just Too Unfair...

The scheduling here and at US Open is terrible. Although RG consistently have matches postponed throughout the tournament. When you are having to conclude matches the following day when there isn't any rain delays you need to rethink the scheduling.

All they have to do is have floodlights or something, right now it's just beyond pathetic how unfair it gets. Berdych and Del Potro may have to play another 2 sets tomorrow just to win and then go out the next day and play Federer.

They could just pay for the stupid lights, it wouldn't kill them

“There’s so many athletes, tennis players around the world,” he continued, trying to put his life into some kind of perspective, “they want to be the best in what they do. They want to succeed. Many of them, they don’t succeed in the end. I’m fortunate to have this opportunity and succeed.”

Copy and Paste.

Sadly, with the French, it would work against tradition.

At least there are matches every Sunday. Not every Major can tell that.

Paris, the City of Light. Uh huh.

If at first you don't succeed, lower your standards.

ATP/ITP/tournament organizers catering to the top players. NID.

Gotta accept it unfortunately.

Yeah, what is Nadal doing? Finishing his matches quickly, doesn't he know that the opponents could have the advantage of a day of rest?
