Roland Garros R1: [28] Troicki def. Bellucci 4-6 6-3 5-7 6-3 6-2

Physically fresher, more consistent player won, but the match was more or less a disaster.

What a way for Bellucci to lose, with Troicki hitting a return that hit the top of the net and went over. Troicki was *5-2 in the third set and lost it. Viktor was the better player overall, Bellucci makes too many errors. Troicki got extremely passive and tight when in winning positions but ultimately got through. At times he played very well, was hitting through the ball more than he has been in recent months, and should have won much easier.

this was a clear cut upset.

I hope Troicki takes care of Fognini next round.

ASI Director-General Gautam Sengupta said the list of India's treasures held abroad was "too long to handle" and there was a need for a "diplomatic and legal campaign" for their restitution from institutions, including the British Museum, the Royal Collection and the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery.

The last two set of this match were awful tennis. Bellucci held twice in the last 2 sets combined and hit a trillion errors. Troicki probably would have lost to anyone then kept the ball in the court because in the 4th set he struggled to close out a 4-0* lead, faced break points after taking a 3*-1 lead in the 5th, and got broken at 5*-1, serving for the match. Bellucci is luckily a brainless player and couldn't do anything but make error. His volley on one of the break points at 3*-1 Troicki serving, was probably one of the worst pressure volleys I've ever seen. Similar to the volley Tipsarevic hit against Verdasco on match point in AO a few years ago.

Supporting the unusual strokes gang: Dolgopolov, Mayer, Mannarino, Tomic

Re: Roland Garros R1: [28] Troicki def. Bellucci 4-6 6-3 5-7 6-3 6-2

Horrible match from both sides. Bellucci is clearly a more talented player, which he occasionally showed, but... Troicki was more fit and more consistent but showed nothing else. He was playing awful pushing tennis, waiting for errors mostly. He was also serving better, Bellucci´s serve was a complete joke. Bellucci was also making one error after another and after 3rd set just stopped to move anymore. Troicki was running from side to side and Bellucci was standing like a statue there. Horrible horrible match. I´m embarrassed and disgusted.

I absolutely hate Troicki, his style of play is disgusting as was the match point. That return was going like 3 metres out and suddenly banged of the net construction right into the court. Hopefully Fognini will beat this Serbian joke of a player.

Only because anything that wasn't long from Bellucci was a short ball waiting to be smacked

Did you see the FHs from Viktor that were landing nearer to the net than the service line?
