Roland Garros R1: [3] Federer def. Kamke 6-2 7-5 6-3

Pretty predictable match, that Roger would play in second-to-third gear and that would be enough, although he was 2-4 down in the second set and struggled closing out the match. Some awesome backhands, at times good serving today from Roger, at times he worked the points really well, but made a lot of loose errors off both sides, partially due to Kamke, but also due to a lack of focus and general poor play.

Kamke is a shotmaker, hits a clean ball, but has a terrible serve, no defense, mediocre volleys and is brainless.

Really, Roger?
He played at 10%... Worst match of 2012 so far.

But who cares. It's R1. The tournament starts in QF, these are exhos, he made 4 pretty good shots to make career highlights, context is useless.

Had he played a decent player he would have lost a set or two.

Kamke was awful yet still had quite a few chances.

WTF was that Fed? This effortless stuff never finishing good. Pick up your exhibition shits and GTFO from Paris . Wouldn't be surprised if he goes out against Nalbandian

Nalbandian is a break down in the third (1 set all). Maybe Roger will play Ungur() instead and reach round 3.

Garbage from Fed.
Should have been 6-2, 6-3, 6-0 in about an hour's time.
I guess he wanted a bit more of practice, and judging on what I saw, he was in need of that.

Had he played a decent player (not that there are too many decent unseeded ones) his level would have been much higher. Surely you understand that...

Rogie made history with his win over Kamke today. First tennis player ever, male or female to win 50 or more matches at all 4 grand slams.
