Gasquet could win this if he turns up in decent form

Re: Rome R16: Andy Murray Vs Ricky Gasquet

Well Gasquet is more offensive and more of a shot maker, the question is always if he mentally wants to put in a good effort, and could lose confidence if he goes down a set, so if Gas takes the 1st I'll say he could take it in 2, I feel if it goes 3 Murray will.

I'm guessing Murray in 2. Clay is arguably Gasquet's best surface & clearly Murray's worst, but Gasquet is past it.

Well I would love Gasquet to win, but I think Murray will be too strong for him.

I'm no Fakervic fan but he needs to save tennis, sadly tree trunk legs will be fresh. Interesting he's never questioned....

Re: Rome R16: Andy Murray Vs Ricky Gasquet

Gasquet has a shot here, I'd say he would win but with his fragile mentality in mind I'll hold off on that. But it could be an interesting match at least.

Re: Rome R16: Andy Murray Vs Ricky Gasquet

I can't say I've been all that impressed with Gasquet on clay this year. Nothing like the way he played last clay season.

Combined with the mental aspect of this particular matchup, Murray in 2.

Andy Murray: 2012 Olympic gold and silver medalist. US Open Champ. Wimbledon champ. Never been prouder of him.

The Brian Baker Story. Proof that truth is stranger than fiction... until Hollywood buys the rights and proceeds to keep screwing the script up.
