ITF Future Valldoreix R1: [Q] David Perez Sanz def. [5] Thiemo de Bakker 7-6(5) 6-4

This was de Bakker's first Future tournament since 2008. He has played only 11 matches this year including DC, 7W 4L, and now he's ranked 398.

David Perez Sanz, ranked 799, turned 18 just yesterday, born on 15 May 1994.

Good to see he is finally back from his ankle injury, it's interesting he lost to an 18 YO Spanish player, obviously 1st matches back can be hard, him being a qualie maybe made it more difficult.

Theimo's been very poor since showing heaps of promise in 2009/10. What happened?

RIP Henry Chinaski. A true MTF legend
