5 years since the last one!

Still owns more clay titles than Federer though, 13 vs 10. Has the most for the Federer generation.

Federer - Emperor of the Slams, King of Hard, King of Grass, Lord of the Australian Open, Lord of Wimbledon.

I hope Juanqui will be able to give Feds a decent match.

Roger is the one between these two who has aged the best. Fed in 2.

Would love to see Juanqui make it competitive.

Realistically, though, it should be Roger in 2

Re: Rome R3 WWW: Federer vs. Ferrero?

Hope Roger in 2, but Ferrero will be a tough customer and they havent played each other in such a long time. Was it wimbledon 07 the last time these two played? I remember it was a tough win for Roger there, 4 sets IIRC.

But Roger in Rome since that 2006 final has failed to impress. His results have been 3R, QF, SF, 2R, 3R in the last five years, with losses to Volandri, Stepanek, Gulbis and Gasquet So you never know, could be a tough match

Federer comfortably in 2.

Still can't believe Ferrero was a world number 1 - either he has declined massively, or the game has evolved massively. Probably both.

Wow that is awful. I knew Roger was weak in Rome but I'd expect to find that record for someone more like Cilic rather than Roger...That makes me lower my expectations from Fed in this tourney. Maybe no SF, but QF is still possible.

Re: Rome R3 WWW: Federer vs. Ferrero?

Federer is not looking that convincing. Ferrero can definitely take a set, & even score the upset if Fed is as shit as he normally is in Rome.

Juanqui can definitely win if Routinerer appears, Roger has to make an effort if he wants to win this.

Rafael "The Matador of Spin" Nadal
Roger “The Magician of Precision” Federer
Del Potro, Ferrer, Haas, Zeballos
