Bordeaux CH RD 1: Zopp def. Ramirez-Hidalgo 6-2 6-3

Zopp edging closer to the top 100 with a solid win over a premium dirt baller. Direct entry into Wimbledon main draw beckons as well...

Tremendous result.

Hard worker and a good guy. Wimbledon entry list is out this week, so hope he can make the main draw.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Such a good guy and hard worker...I thought the entry list was out this week...He will be really close, I suspect, maybe after some withdrawals he will get in...Hoping he does

There is Söderling who is out, plus a few others more than likely I think he will make main draw. It comes out tomorrow I think.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Thanks Action...i was thinking tomorrow as well...Too bad next weeks rankings aren't the ones that count...He would be in probably...I wonder if his grass game is good...Usually flat hitters do well at Wimbledon, but I forget how far he made it in Wimb Qualies last year...Guess his game this year will be a better indicator of how he will do on grass...He should enter a grass warm up tourney after RG...Are there any.Challenger grass tourneys in June?

Nottingham is the grass challenger 2nd week of RG. That list will be out soon, but with grass it's more about the return and movement.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

He is playing Nottingham, just hope he can do well in this event.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".
