Rome R1: Wawrinka holds off Haase 6-1, 4-6, 7-5

would have been dreadful loss. Was up a break in the 3rd.

Rome R1: Wawrinka def. [Q] Haase 6-1 4-6 7-5

Good win in the end for Stan. Saved 0-30 at *4-5 in the third, broke immediately and then saved a BP after being up 30-0 in the final game. Stan saved the first 8 BPs against him spread across three games the first set and opening of the second set. Robin lost only five points on serve in the second set but both guys seemingly struggled throughout on serve in the third. Stan was up a break through *4-3, Haase saved a BP at 4 all before having the chance to win on return the next game.

Based on what I read it was a good match, too bad we couldn't see it.

should be able to take out Tipsarevic on this surface, today's performance notwithstanding

Wawa was down *4-5 0-30 in that deciding set. Glad to see he came back, Tough defeat for Haase, he had 6 bp opportunities in that first set squandered! I'm glad Wawrinka won, Tipsarevic vs Wawrinka should be a fun match

R2?

Bad for tennis anyway. Wawrinka is a digusting person with disgusting attitude on court, he should always lose.

Choker def. choker. Must've been a terrible match. Third set scoreboard was pretty funny to follow.

Berdych - Tsonga - Wawrinka - Del Potro - Gasquet - F.Lopez - Monfils - Haas - Janowicz - Youzhny - Tomic - Llodra - Hewitt - Gulbis - Mahut - Haase - Schoorel - Sijsling - Huta Galung - De Bakker - Van der Duim - Westerhof - Middelkoop - Koolhof - Lootsma - Meuffels - Sels - Van Rijthoven

All time: Safin - Schalken - Krajicek - Sluiter - Verkerk - Henman - Ivanisevic - Nalbandian - Ferrero - Philippoussis - Sampras - Siemerink - Blake - F.Gonzalez - Ancic - Haarhuis/Eltingh

Still supporting all the Dutchies despite their great choking skills

Mugwrinka must have used some of that prize money to finally purchase a spine

He might actually have a good run in Rome.
