Rome R1: [WC] Fognini def. Baghdatis 6-2 6-2

The Italian crowd ends the day session on Centrale happy. Good match overall from Fabio, hit his customary beautiful winners and was relatively solid throughout given the conditions.

Not a lot of commitment from Baghdatis in the second set. His movement on clay is pretty dire. Only won 45% of service points.

Hahahaha, got to love the Na, Na, Na Hey Hey Goodbye when they leave the court.

Fog looking splendid and played well in the shit conditions.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Too good from Fabio.
Baghdatis is only a 1/3 of what he used to be...

Players with a professional mindset handle bad conditions and play through them. We're learning the last couple weeks which players are more professional than others.

Baghdatis was awful, Fognini wasn't good either aside from some good drop shots

Bags looking more and more terrible, pretty sad. However, Fog winning is fantastic in any conceivable situation.
