Rome R1: Verdasco def. Dolgopolov 6-0 ret.

Abdominal injury. Nando played well given the situations in the first set.

Nando vs Pics R2, on these courts, with Nando gaining some confidence in his game, one can see him pull off the upset.

Hope he recovers soon. Who has fiasco got next?

I'm no Fakervic fan but he needs to save tennis, sadly tree trunk legs will be fresh. Interesting he's never questioned....

Because of the wind and obviously Dolgo's injury, it wasn't a good match as I hoped it would be. 5 winners and 26 UEs.

Dolgopolov is a joke, 1st set completed, how much money did he make? if you are injured you don't play.

Dolgo apparently had a sickness, actually, and that is why he couldn't play, intestinal issues.

Get well soon Dolgo.

Ferrer will take care of Fiasco.

Was he injured or ill? If the latter then it's kind of understandable, sometimes you aren't sure how you'll be till you actually get out there and need to give a full effort, and if you can scrape through you can be feeling better by your next match.

Disappointing though =(

Someone said in this thread "abdominal injury", i don't buy it, this isn't the kind of injury that pop out like that out of nowhere.

Joke of a result, let a lucky loser play.

Dullvid will be too much for Nando most likely. Rafa choked HARD in Madrid, I'd love to give Nando more credit but honestly Nando's not turned a corner or anything I don't think...

Tennis is life...
