Rome R1: [13] Monfils def. Bogomolov 6-4 6-1

Boring match which was never in doubt. Gael served well overall, which was the best part of the match. Ugly tennis in general, many abysmal errors, the wind ruined the play, but Bogo was awful regardless.

Gael doesn't look 100% physically.

Rome, R1: Gael Monfils def. Alex Bogomolov 6:4, 6:1

Bogomolov is not just in a horrible slump, but he even doesn´t care nowadays...looks like he was very motivated to lose this match in two sets.

Bogo screaming he does not have money from tennis as a lower ranked player, yet still there are matches like this with 100k matched on opponent´s 2-0 result.

He's never 100% physically, today even more so though with twisting his ankle early on.

Bogomolov on an ugly losing streak (7). And he's been getting pretty good draws too.

Of course Gael isnt 100% but he is still winning matches and thats all that matters. RG is the real clay tournament for him. I dont how many times I have to tell you guys that Monfils has been the best player at RG outside of the Top 3 and Soderling.

Stronga,Monfils,DelPo,Nalbandian,Berdych,Gulbis,Ha as and Djokovic are the players I support the most.

I don't know how many times I have to tell you he has been to just 1 RG semi in his career.

Hopefully Monfils can defeat Federer to show that he is not that useless after all.

What is this? So players get injured in Monte Carlo and Rome and it's Madrid that is deemed unsafe to play.

Maybe he'll beat Roger, djokovic and nadal and win the title...
