Clay obviously isn't Matt's surface

But Gianluca, when on, is a very flashy, talented player. Broke serve 6/8 times, very impressive.

Naso will be an MTF favorite, very talented when playing well, absolute shit when not playing well.

Ebden can't move on the clay.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

In hindsight Ebden should've played some Asian hard court challengers instead but good on him for trying tough clay court events. I hope he draws Lu or some other 50-100 hard court specialist at Roland Garros and somehow win, so his clay season wasn't completely fruitless.

Mugt Crapden can't leave top 100 fast enough. It was enough having to watch his matches during AO. So much muggery concentrated in one place at once shouldn't be legal.

Naso

Kudos to Ebden for at least giving the dirt a fair try. His scheduling will probably be different next year.

yeah, actually the last match won by Ebden on clay dates back to Zagreb 2010, so let's hope for Ramos to take out the trash
