CH Prague QF: Bedene def. Rosol 3-6 6-4 6-1

Another comeback from behind from the young Slovene. Broke to win the second set and starting in that game, broke Rosol in each service game the rest of the match, four straight breaks of serve, saved 6/9 BPs against him as well.

The last few weeks he's definitely beginning to announce himself as a big-time player to watch out for.

Now Bedene is winning flyboy has changed his tune. Thanks for the report Nathii.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Why was this match not on centre court?

i am not sure why czech players aren't scheduled to the centre court
either they prefer surface on court 2 or the reason is the main court is really huge (good for ATP for sure) and on the smaller court the tribune is packed and people can make better atmosphere...

i think many people have frequented this challenger (entrance is free) but even if many sit on the central court it's almost like none, so big it is.

Strange the title holder and Czech guy, yet Klizan and Kriewetz on centre court mm.

Hope Bedene wins this event.

Not that strange. No idea about the situation itself but every now and then, home players ask directors to play on a certain court.

Joăo Sousa did it in Estoril.

Re: CH Prague QF: Bedene def. Rosol 3-6 6-4 6-1

This is the venue where they used to have the ATP event until they lost it due to some dodgy people involved in the old tournament. Would be good if they got it back.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Czech R should definitely have an ATP event.

Yay!

Bedene will be ranked higher than Kavčič really soon if he keeps this up.
He's a much much better player for sure.
