WWW Madrid QF: [1]Djokovic vs [7]Tipsarevic

I think Tipsarevic will have a good chance to win this match. He usually plays Djokovic tough. This year at Dubai was the first time he didn't take a set, but he did beat Djokovic at the WTF in 2011.

The quick courts suit his game and he has said that he likes the courts. Hopefully 2 consecutive 3 setters haven't worn him down too much.

I'll go out on a limb and say Tipsarevic takes it in 2.

I'm not holding my breath for anything other than a Djokovic win.

Expecting a Djokovic win, but not counting Janko out.
He has a much better chance if his serve is on today.

Another spanking session for Bendoverevic and that can only be a good thing for tennis

Tipsarevic actually hasn't bent over for Djokovic too badly. The H2H is 4-1 in Djokovic's favor and Janko also gave him one walkover and retired in that USO match (where he was playing really well but just ran out of gas). You must have been thinking of Troicki. That guy lost in R2.

You don't need a poll. Nor can I make one at this point. Better if you type it anyways because people don't take MTF polls seriously.

A poll would be an insult to Nole. We're not in the habit of insulting world number 1's on MTF.

Expect Djokovic to win this in three, but not sure: if Nando can beat Nadal on this surface, than everything can happen.

I agree Tipsy has a real chance here. He has a great first serve, and Madrid really rewards the big servers. If it's clicking, and Djokovic is having difficulty moving, then he has a chance. Saying that, Djokovic has a great first serve too, but I just have this nagging doubt that he doesn't really want the win in Madrid this year enough. I say this as he's been moaning non stop about the surface. And when a player (or anyone) starts getting negative it's got to affect their performance. Djokovic might win today, but I sense the ultimate victor at Madrid this year lies elsewhere.
