Re: Nalbandian def. Ancic 6-4 6-3

I saw just the second set, but what I saw pleased me, david won almost all the rallies and whenever ancic didnt hit his 1st serve david immediately took the initiave to control the rallies as we know hes capable of.
not sure about his serving, it didnt look too bad until he was serving for the match at 5-2 and then produced three double faults to get broken. thank god for his returns though
david has a great chance to win this tournament now that federer has withdrawn.
vamos david, i know u can do it

Good solid performance and just try and win this tournament as he has done the past. I mean the best way for him to win would be to play Henman in the final. I hope he can make Houston, even if it's as an alternate.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Machado wins 6-2 6-1

yeah and he was pretty angry about it
btw: his draw seems so much easier now, doesnt it? a lot of ppl talked about it being very hard (before federer withdrew), but I actually prefer his half to henman's.

It was an easy win,
I've watched it by TV...

Go, David, win this tournament!

How many times must we of shot nerves witness the undoubted pain & suffering of muppets everywhere before we stand up against the cavemen??

One muppet, who wishes to remain anonymous, has this to say: "You know, I uhhhh cannot stay all the time at the you know, base of the line. Too much uhhhh pression."

It is your turn to help - The "Save A Muppet Foundation" needs you!

I'm glad David is keeping his chin up after Madrid.

Just keeping my fingers crossed that the toe doesn't affect him too much

It's good to see him back in winning form
