Well, as this is your speciality (using a random stat to make Fed look bad), I thought it was worth putting it out there . And what about the thread topic. I said ones again. Fed>>>Nadal. No point talking about WTF/Olympics when Roger has smashed Nadal on 4 occasions at the WTF.

You would be a pretty bad judge at that.

I see. No credit for Nadal from you as always. Pathetic.

Monaco - Del Potro - Nadal - Wawrinka - Robredo - Simon - Berdych - Djokovic - Chardy

I credit him with what he's won against Roger. No sets, 3 games last year, 4 in the last 3 sets they've played.

Clearly Looner means at the WTF... Last three sets they've played there: 1-6 3-6 0-6

And just as clearly Johnny Groove understood that, and made a point of his own.

its not only that its WTF V Olympics

its 6 titles >>>> 1 title

its that Fed has Gold and Silver anyway! medalling on TWO seperate games! he's even a bigger Olympic GOAT than Nadal.

No. Johnny Groove misunderstood, and responded under the misbelief that Looner had been referring to their last three sets played anywhere - as opposed to their last three sets played at the WTF. However, even if you are correct and Johnny had indeed understood and made a further point, the Aus Open semi is irrelevant to discussion of their meetings at the WTF and, for that matter, to the topic of this thread.

Re: Endless Federer-Nadal debates (WTF vs Olympics)

Thank you. I don't need to say anything except the fact that RN may well win one WTF when RF is close to retirement. I hope Muzz stops Murray as a bit of karma for the many things Nadal has denied Muzzah.

Well, it's not as if his WTF-career has been similar to Fed's experiences at RG. It is not one man consistently standing in his way. He has just one final, after all, in his very best year. I don't think he will win this one.

The only chance Murray has of making a slam final is if he doesnt face top 3 or if NOLE/FED have a 4 hour battle with QF opponent. Even then, RAFA will take him out in final. Murray should thank JMDP for his gold, only RAFA could recover from that semifinal and still win but he was injured.
This is quite correct, actually. By beating Federer in the Olympics he's solidified his status as the Mickey-Mouse GOAT. However, it says nothing for how he will perform in slams. Nadal will be uber-hungry after crashing out of Wimby and missing the OG, Djokovic too will be in strong pursuit of another title having only won two this season, and of course Federer will want to right the wrongs of the past two years and keep himself ahead going into the part of the year where he defends most points. Can Murray compete against Fedalovic in a slam when they all have such desire in their hearts? Unfortunately he's still yet to show us that he can.

Re: Endless Federer-Nadal debates (WTF vs Olympics)

Why all the fighting we should just celebrate the greatest tennis Olympians in history.
Murray with 2 , I gold I silver
Fed with 2 , I gold (double) 1 silver.
Multiple champions , others are just flukes eg Massu etc.

The law of nature, only the strong survive.

THE GREAT TACTICAL RIVALRY OF THE OPEN ERA
