No wonder because only the Top 8 qualify for this tournament.

Monaco - Del Potro - Nadal - Wawrinka - Robredo - Simon - Berdych - Djokovic - Chardy

So you disagree with durrrrrr agree with me that it is ridiculous to claim that Rafa's lack of a WTf title is a big black hole but Fed's lack of Olympic Gold Medal in Singles doesn't matter? Is that what you are trying to say? A yes or no will suffice.

So it is "understandable". It is "understandable for a player who has won the most Slams of anyone and who is GOAT according to his fanboys has been beaten by the likes of Berdych, Blake and Murray when he tried to win the Ol<mpics in Singles.

Such BS. Reasons why Nadal hasn't won the WTF are obvious to anyone who knows somethimg about the game.

Me and every other person with a brain here is very much aware that you would also acknowledge this fact if only you weren't bent on defending Nadal blindly in every and all situations.

Such again. There are also lots of player who dream about winning a medal for their countries. Stop living in the past. The WTF is not that much more important than the Olmypic Gold (in Single). You say that because your fave hasn't won the latter and at the same time accusing me of fanboyism.

Federer has an Olympic Gold already.

Beijing 2008 medal table Switzerland got the same number as Spain did from the tennis competitions.

this, a country couldn't care less on what sport or discipline or mode his countryman win the gold, it counts the same, and Olympics is for play for your country and not for your own achievement. About WTF maybe Nadal can win it if they change it to clay, keep praying.

Re: Endless Federer-Nadal debates (WTF vs Olympics)

Nadaltards don't have much left to argue now that both Silverer and Goldray have more medals than Nadal.

WTF = 1500 pts
Olympic gold = 750 pts

It doesn`t need to be a genious to understand what is harder to win for objective reasons due to impossibility to take part in OG more times then in WTF.

You make no sense. According to your logic Nadal > Fed because Olympics is much harder to win than WTF

Everything matters. Is it simply that the OG matters less than the WTF. And as the WTF is held each year we can say that Federer has tried to win the OG three times (or four, if you like to count opportunities before he started winning anything) and failed, and Nadal has tried to win the WTF eight times (or ten, if you prefer) and failed. Eight is larger than three. Ten is larger than four. Nadal has had more chances at this.

Well, I am glad all reasonable people in this thread agree WTF>>>>Olympics. Now we can continue this debate knowing Fed is GOAT and Nadal is trying to reach his zillion records .

I already addressed that point in another post of mine. It is not that simple.
