I see you haven't been able to answer my question just like your trollish friend durrrrrrrrrr.
And I also love your (fail of a)logic: Since the WTF is played every year, Nadal's more of a failure when he can't win it. But since the Olympic's are held every 4 years, Fed's failure isn't that bad.
Stop putting words in my mouth Matty, I've said it before, you're not smart enough.
That Federer lacks the olympic gold is of course a small blemish on his resumé but like I said, since the OG is only held every 4 years it is at least UNDERSTANDABLE that he failed to win it.
It is not as understandable that Nadal who has played the WTF 6 times has not been able to win it, especially since he according to his quality fanboys is a GOAT contender.
Your logic can easily be reversed and say that the Olympics are more special and important because it's only held every 4 years which makes Nadal's success there even more important and special.
No, my logic is not "easily reversed". We are talking TENNIS here. In TENNIS, the YEC has much history and is worth more ranking points than the olympics. Tennis players dream about winning slams and qualifying for the YEC when they are kids. They do not aim towards the olympics, like participants of many other sports do. Me and every other person with a brain here is very much aware that you would also acknowledge this fact if only you weren't bent on defending Nadal blindly in every and all situations.
