Re: Poll: Nadals 2010 season vs Federers 2007 season
Let's do it scientifically, just in order to close the pseudo-mouths of some worms like SDG:
Let's convert Federer's 2007 results to 2010 ranking style.
I will need your help since i'm not that good at it:
AO - W - 2000
Dubai - W - 500
IW - R64 - 1 (?)
Miami - R16 - 160 (?)
MC - F - 720
Rome - R3 - 180 (?)
Hamburg - W - 1000
RG - F - 1200
Wimby - W - 2000
Canada - F - 720
Cincy - W - 1000
US - W - 2000
Davis Cup - 15 (?)
Madrid - F - 720
Basel - W - 500
Bercy - R3 - 15 (?)
TMC - W - 1300
Total: at least 12500 points.
Nadal finished 2010 with 12450
So, tards, any conclusions ?
Looking in retrospect, 2007 was the best year for Fed in respect to his rivalry with Nadal.
He was 6-8 vs Rafa at the end of that season, and had his number on any surface but clay, beating the spaniard during 2007 on clay, hard and grass.
So, let's not get carried away, rafatards.
Roger's 2007, the year of the start of the decline for the GOAT, was just a bit better than Rafa's 2010, atm his peak year... just accept it and move on!
Q. Do you think you would have been able to play as well as you played today, or you think you would have pulled out from the game if it wasn't the Masters Cup final?
ROGER FEDERER: No, Roger Federer doesn't pull out. Otherwise he doesn't walk on court (smiling).
After losing to Nalbandian in 2005 TMC final...
