Angry ATP or ER ? : Nalbandian injured, OMFG

http://www.clarin.com/diario/2004/10...es/d-08201.htm

Unbelievable. Guys at spanish forum posted he got angry against Srichaphan and kicked a net post. He hurt the big toe in his left foot and had to be infiltrated after playing against Ljubicic. Tomorrow we'll know if he'll play at Basilea

I don't understand why he got so frustrated; it was such an easy win for him. It's kinda funny...and sad...

The word in English is not "infiltrated"; the correct word is "injected"-as in "injected with a shot".

I was there and actually it was quite funny when it happened - couldn't help laughing. As far as I know the toe isn't broken though - he played 3 matches after that and was walking around quite happily - just badly bruised as far as I've been told.

hahaha! that is funny. sometimes we do stupid stuff david!

Marat: Last question: what do you think of me? Dinara: You are my god! When you play, I love
to see you. When you lose, I am even sadder than when it is me. When you are wounded, I suffer.
When you speak to me, I drink your words. When you come to see me playing, I am with the angels.

Re: ATP or ER ? : Nalbandian injured, OMFG

I wonder if the toenail has now died and is coming off. If that's the case, and he has a raw nailbed there, that could be enough to keep him off court for a few days while it toughens back up a little bit.

Best twitter posts of the epic match:

@dougrobson - Whoever is supplying Mahut with hair gel needs to ink a sponsorship deal now.

@Wimbledon - FYI, with @Wimbledon live scoring devices, please add 50 to the games in the fifth set of the Isner v Mahut match.

@HolterMedia - Nice to see that a three-day test has come to tennis here @wimbledon.

ah nalby.....i think he just likes being injured!

How many times must we of shot nerves witness the undoubted pain & suffering of muppets everywhere before we stand up against the cavemen??

One muppet, who wishes to remain anonymous, has this to say: "You know, I uhhhh cannot stay all the time at the you know, base of the line. Too much uhhhh pression."

It is your turn to help - The "Save A Muppet Foundation" needs you!
