Munich R2: Tomic def. Starace 6-1 6-7(4) 6-3

Good win for Nard Dog. Still remember Starace crying when he lost to Tomic at the AO.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Should have been straight sets. Obviously, Starace was expected to lose due to the betting patterns. Starace fell down running around a backhand at 3 all 30 all when he was dominating the point.

Bernard did what he had to do, his backhand was great in the match. The first set was awesome from him.

Shouldn't have choked up the 2nd, but a win's a win.

Tomic very motivated this week for the car.
Good match from him

Nice match to watch, easy on the eyes and entertaining as hell.

Roger Federer ♦ David Goffin ♦ Mikhail Youzhny ♦ Dustin Brown ♦ Pierre-Hugues Herbert

Nard Dog has improved on clay then again he had to from those clownish efforts last 2 years.

Good win on clay for him but Starace didn't use enough of his drop shots to expose Tomic's forward movement which still sucks but good day for the Aussies.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

The dropshots kept Poto in the match the second set, Bernard had no answer for them. He was up 2-*0 BP in the third set. Had he gone for the victory he would have probably taken it. His returning was very good most of the match, hit some clean winning BH returns. The forehand started breaking down on him at the end, but he got the victory.

when was this? Any vids ?

Good that Tomic has improved his game. We need new players at the top and now he seems like he might actually start making consistent inroads into tournaments.

After Nadal beat Monfils at Doha, before AO 2014

Only Del Potro can take him out before the semis, and he won't. Nadal is winning the AO, bet your house on it.
Somewhere out there, there is a homeless person who once took betting advice from GSMnadal

Market "psychic", "never believed" in Starace, etc etc.

Tomic was damn good at times though.

He'll fight fine in the Madrid qualis at the weekend.

Just a massive coincidence the money went against him constantly all match long today.
