Too good Bachinger and dedicated to flyboy.

So flyboy, please don't go on about how so and so is worthless cause you don't like them.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

What's wrong with Bachinger

Too bad for Brands, he couldn't handle the pressure today.
Good win for Bachinger

Don't tell me what to do

And stop being so obnoxious that you have to desperately start match threads just to personally attack me.

He always has hissy fits when players he doesn't like win and then bitches at others for the same behaviour vice versa.

Bachinger is having a good week, deserves his place in the semis.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Nothing too much, he's just a very mediocre player, and boring. He's a nice guy, though.

Bachinger played an extremely motivated match. He went for every ball, he fought hard, he had a lot of energy. He was determined and yes, he grinded, he's not a pure attacking player like many here seem to believe.

Brands choked the end of the first set and was frustrated in the second set. He couldn't hit it through Bachinger, and collapsed.

yes bachinger grinded here which was a good tactic because brands was keen on self destroying
Bachinger is the favorite here. Scrapers and grinders are always the favorites in a match-up like this.
Once again LCY pulverizing the amateurs in here with their knowledge of "tennis".

Too good.

Grinding for a match doesn't make someone a grinder. Against Golubev, Federer would probably play as a grinder.

True, but Bachinger isn't an attacking player.

Re: Bucharest QF : Bachinger def. Brands 6-4 6-1

I've followed Bachinger's results for several years, and it's interesting/surprising how he changed, from a player who seemed to be underperforming, having potential but seeming to have a mental block like a lack of confidence often losing in key moments of second round or QF of challengers or in important matches, stuck around ranking 200,

to a player who's now known as a fighter lacking talent but with so much willingness that he fully uses his potential and also plays wins tight matches.

A little bit like Dodig ... well I've just noted Filo V esp. didn't like both

Anyway I would never have believed before that he would defeat Volandri twice on clay, then Troicki in a very tight match, while he was known as a player for indoors.
