Bucharest R2 : Bachinger def. Troicki 6-3 4-6 7-6 (2)

Too good Bachinger, never bad when Troicki loses.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Troicki came from a break down in the third set but it wasn't enough. Similarly close match as their one in Dubai, where Bachinger was up a break in the first set and Troicki won 7-6(6) 6-4.

Bachinger is complete trash. Why are guys losing to him and struggling with him on clay? Well, the good thing is, this charade will be over tomorrow.

Troicki is a tier 1 mug, can't believe he was close to top 10 at one point.

Troicki's fall started when he lost to Monfils in Montreal and then lost to Fognini in Cincinnati. His level of play has not been the same since at all.

He can't beat anyone good at all, either. But his race ranking is still top 40. He may be mediocre but he's still playing at a top 50 level.

I'd say his fall started when he fucked up bad against Murray at RG after having 5-3, *30-0. From there it's turned into shit for him. Getting routined by Lu at Wimby afterwards. His last chance to prove himself was against Monfils, and he still fucked that up. That was the last nail on the coffin.

Well, he didn't do that with this kind of play, that's for sure. If he keeps like this, he'll be back to hovering around top 50-60 again, and even that will be success. No idea what's the matter with him

“There’s so many athletes, tennis players around the world,” he continued, trying to put his life into some kind of perspective, “they want to be the best in what they do. They want to succeed. Many of them, they don’t succeed in the end. I’m fortunate to have this opportunity and succeed.”

Typical Troicki, led 5:4* (30/0) in the 3rd set. Some things never change, you can always count on his dramatic defeats

I think that may be when his confidence took a severe hit, but he did make the QF of Washington and he beat Isner in Montreal. He was playing well vs Monfils. Then he choked embarrassingly, got injured vs Fognini in Cincinnati, then lost another tight match vs Falla at the Open. His results and performances, before/after, tell the story.
