Barcelona R2: Raonic def. Andreev 6-4 6-1

Most impressive clay win for Milos in his career. Seven points lost on serve, 69-43 points differential. Not even close, a rout for the Canadian.

Andreev getting breadsticked by serve bot like Raonic on clay is embarrassing. Poor guy lost his mind completely after Kiri dumped him

Looks like another Andreev choke. Unbroken at 4-5 *40-15, looks like a tiebreak. Instead broken, loses 7 games in a row.

Every service game he had multiple game points, then was broken.

I think that Baby Face has a shot to beat Almagro.

Milos had never played on clay before last year: he's learning fast!

Federer, Raonic, Tsonga, Monfils, DelPo ...

Re: Barcelona R2: Raonic def. Andreev 6-4 6-1

Last year, he had shown some abilities : had defeated Simon, Stepanek and a good Gulbis (who had defeated Dolgopolov), and had already defeated Andreev.

People spoke last week as if they were sure that he was an absolute mug on clay, which he wasn't.

I think Raonic had already had 3 breakpoints before, Andreev none.

it doesn't qualify as a 'choke' if a player was never in the lead or in control of the match.

No choke, but pretty pathetic nonetheless. It's one thing not to break him, but winning just 53% of your own service points against a big server on his worst, and your best surface... Not acceptable.

It's just that Milos is catching up pretty quickly on clay. Soon he's going to be as good on it as he is on other surfaces.

It's going to be interesting to see how he does tomorrow against Almagro, whom he has beaten on hard already, earlier this year.

Federer, Raonic, Tsonga, Monfils, DelPo ...
