So no Olympics for Mardy and no fish&chips either. Well, I guess there are some relatively easy points to take.

Not a surprise tbh. Fish finally starting to realize where he stands in tennis food chain. It was hilarious when he thought he was an elite player because he fluked his way into top ten. 250 and 500 MM events is where this mug belongs - he's right at home amongst his fellow journeymen.

Re: Fish to play Washington

A lot of good players will probably still be playing Washington. It won't be an easy 500, he'll have to defeat some decent players. After losing so painfully in Athens, and doing the Olympics already, he probably doesn't have the same motivation as others do. It's simply not as big of a draw for some players.

Re: Fish to play Washington

Didn't I start a thread on this two days ago? Or did I just put it in the rankings and Olympics threads and figure that three posts about the same topic would be too much? Meh. I don't remember.

But I'm very surprised at Fish skipping the Olympics. They're probably shelling out a lot of money. And that fact that Fish already has a Silver Medal might mean something.
