Re: Which tournament is the 'fifth slam'?

I see where you're getting with this.

Monte Carlo is the 5th slam thus changing nadal's slam count to 10+7=17 making him the male player with the most slams won.

Brilliant reasoning.

Re: Which tournament is the 'fifth slam'?

Madrid will REALLY be the 5th slam in maximum 10 years. Tiriac will show you all the power of money and influence...Shanghai will be hard to beat in that department, though...but, hopefully, the Chinese will focus on to the new space race and not on tennis...

Q. Do you think you would have been able to play as well as you played today, or you think you would have pulled out from the game if it wasn't the Masters Cup final?

ROGER FEDERER: No, Roger Federer doesn't pull out. Otherwise he doesn't walk on court (smiling).

After losing to Nalbandian in 2005 TMC final...

Ion Tiriac Jr hacking into peoples accounts poor form.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

When is Queens going to become a 500 tournament?

Re: Which tournament is the 'fifth slam'?

Queens has no need to become a 500 event. They can't expand the facilities there and they get the field anyway.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".
