Thomaz Still as inconsistent as ever.

At least he did tennis a great service by sending Ferrer packing yesterday.

Hope he can somehow find some consistency in future tournaments.

Re: Monte Carlo R3: Haase def. Bellucci 6-2 6-3

The sad thing is that Ferrer lost to Bellucci 6-2, 6-3, and look what happens the next match same scoreline and its bellucci who loses, this tournament is becoming a joke of all shit and tragic into perfection

Re: Monte Carlo R3: Haase def. Bellucci 6-2 6-3

Haase played to the conditions - if it's 12C and the court has just been freshly rained on, then trying to hit winners from behind the baseline constantly isn't going to get you far. Haase was also hitting fairly heavily at times, but the intent was different, trying to draw errors instead.

Not a natural game for either. Haase executed it, and well. Bellucci dimwittedly didn't even realise what he was doing wrong.

tbh the signs were obvious for this QF showing from Haase's past few weeks

Epic success at serving a match out

Re: Monte Carlo R3: Haase def. Bellucci 6-2 6-3

Like a lot of posters already said,
Haase was not more than ok.
Solid in defense, good in terms of running.

You saw in nearly any point that Bellucci is the better player. But he was not able to play free.
It was very fearful and bad.

Good for Haase Sad that his luck is caused by Monaco's bad luck

This could do wonders for Haase's confidence and mental state going forward.

We see this all the time, a player comes off a huge win only to not be ready for the lowlier followup.
