Don't meant to sound rude though but if this does potentially stop him from ever reaching the top 10 I think it's a good thing.
How an earth would something like that be a good thing?

Re: Monaco out for a month: ankle ligaments

If Monaco made top 10, he woulda deserved it
Doesn't deserve it much less than 7-13 do, only 6 players are at top 10 levels last 12 months, though Almagro might make it with a good clay season and it be pretty deserved

I get where you guys are coming from but really with mugs like Almagro, Tipsarevic, Fish etc. all making the top 10, I really don't want to see a bigger mug with less weapons make the top 10, would be a joke!

Re: Monaco out for a month: ankle ligaments

I am not even a little fan of Monaco's boring game but I wish him health and a speedy recovery. Too many injuries in tennis . I think playing Houston after Miami and then Monte Carlo was just too much!

Re: Monaco out for a month: ankle ligaments

Shame this will all but end his efforts to get top 10

Juan Martin Del Potro

But he lost 23 times against you.
's right. We have to also throw into the mix. But I do not think it is currently the decisive factor. But he has achieved in my opinion too much. Maybe this is crucial if I move him even closer after major victories. But 14 or 17 Grand Slam titles is a significant difference. At the present time there is no question that he must be the greater player than me.

Poor, poor fellow, such bad luck when in good form just entering his best surface-part of the season.

Get well soon, Pico!

PS: anyone who manages to rack up sufficient points to enter the Top-Whatever, deserves it.

The "out for a month" is what the result from today's exams said...

Re: Monaco out for a month: ankle ligaments

the correct diagnosis is ligaments from the peroneo astragalino are broken, then he has two other ligaments injured. His kinesthesiologist, Diego Rivas, said "we are trying to do everything possible for him to play Roland Garros".

He will have to wear a Walker Boot
